Features

  1. How it works?
  2. Dry leaves contain varying amounts of lignin and hemi-cellulose which are extremely resistant to decomposition.
  3. Dcomposer CB ™ microorganisms belonging to ascomycetes, which secrete copious amount of extracellular lytic enzymes like cellulases and hemi-cellulase to degrade the lignin and hemi-cellulose.
  4. Dcomposer CB ™ also supports growth of plant beneficial microbes.
  5. Dcomposer CB ™ secretes enzymes to decompose organic, ligno cellulose and hemi-cellulase biomass into simple organic form.
  6. Agricultural /Garden waste contain 2 – 10 % of soil organic matter (SOM) and this organic matter is sequentially reduced with the help of microorganisms and mineralized into basic inorganic molecules such as ammonium, phosphate, carbon dioxide and water, which can be taken up by plants and organisms.
  7. Dcomposer CB ™ Improves soil physical, Biological and chemical properties such as texture, Structure, improve micro flora, increase water holding capacity of soil.
  8. Manufactured by Fermentation process which is non-toxic non-pathogenic and environmental friendly.
  9. Shelf life: 1 year from date of manufacturing.

How to Use?

  • Dose and method of application

Dissolve 1 lit or 1 kg of Dcomposer CB in 200 liters of water and drench in root zone of crops grown in 1 acre area or can be applied through drip irrigation.

  • Large scale decomposing Process
  • The shredded biomass is initially moistened uniformly with 50L of water per 200kg of leaf waste, one day prior to addition of culture formulation.
  • Next day 1kg OR 1 Lit of the Dcomposer CB formulation is to be suspended in water and spread all over the shredded material uniformly. To ensure uniform application of formulation 100g of it is to be mixed with 2L of water and applied after removing a six inch layer of dry waste matter from the top. The remaining formulation has to be added in a similar manner to the rest of the shredded dry leaf matter.
  •  After addition of formulation, the material that was removed from the top is to be added back in the form of a layer. It is allowed to incubate undisturbed for next 5 days. After 5 days check for the change in colour. Within two to three days there may be a significant rise in temperature (50-60ºC) along with progressive darkening of colour to dark brown or black -an indication of initiation of degradation.
  • After 5 to 7 days the entire material has to upturned and mixed thoroughly accompanied by sprinkling of water with a garden sprinkler. Thereafter, every two days moistening of the material has to be carried out for the next 2 to 3 weeks accompanied with light mixing once in 5-7 days.
  • A second addition of same amount of Dcomposer CB formulation has to be done after 2 weeks in a similar manner.
  • Uniform darkening of the entire pile of biomass to black or dark brown colour along with approximately 20-30% reduction in volume and lowering of temperature to ambient, is an indicator of successful composting.
  • This can be directly used as potting medium or as soil conditioner.
  • For commercial purposes the resultant material has to be dried in open/sun (drying) followed by manual sieving (18-20 mesh size) or shredding.
  • This process results in a free flowing composted material.
